Interesting night, so I asked a girl friend to go out for some drinks and dancing and I was late so I told her to get a table for us and wait inside. Surprise surprise she did got us a table even if the place is packed although we had to share it with someone. I thought somebody else arranged it for her but found out that my friend actually asked the guy if we can share the table with him. He turned out to be funny and nice so it’s all good. Told my friend that it’s really cool that she did that because she’s usually shy. Then she probably had too much to drink that when we’re supposed to get a cab for each other, for all three of us she decided to go with him. Hmmm… but then again the guy seemed nice and well my friend … is old enough to know what she’s doing right?

It reminds me of episode 6 of Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 which is “It’s Just Sex…” where Chloe teaches June how to be sexually empowered and to have casual sex. I love that show and absolutely in-love with Krysten Ritter.

Which reminds of one of the topic of conversation last night… I said, “She’s pretty” to everyone in the table referring to the singer at Trader Vic’s and the guy said, “She’s not” which prompted me to ask, “Why? What kind of girls attract you?” to which he responded that he’s actually into Filipinas, and I gave him my common response which is blank stare and quizzical look, and asked why. He then explained that he likes the Asian culture and the hospitality, although I was looking for a different answer I gave him the benefit of the doubt and agreed with him, because 1) I just met him and don’t really want to explain and get into an argument because I am kind of opinionated and 2) well it’s boring.

We talked about other things as well and the common problems of relationships and how difficult it is to date someone here in the UAE.

I love this city so much. But there are still things that you won’t like about it. I find it interesting that there are parts of this desert with trees with flowers blooming.

Moving on … I am officially hooked on Instagram and Path. As if Tumblr and this blog isn’t enough.

When I went to Morocco last year, there were a lot of Storks in the medina at Marrakech. I remember praying not to have kids.

1) Take your vinyl toy apart. You can wash the toy with hot water or use a hair dryer, make sure it’s not too hot.

2) Soap and wash the toy.

3) Sketch and Test. Test on concealed parts like the bottom of the foot before drawing on the face. Sketch up and see where it will be a good place to start.

They have two infinity pools, the Sunset pool and the Laguna pool.

Good music and drinks at Breakers (promo of the month, Buy 2 Stella Artois get another one FREE!). Wish they close late like most bars in RAK though.

Buffet breakfast at Cinnamon.

Delicious grilled seafood selection at Sunset Bar.

Arabic-style villas on a lagoon.

The villas have red-brick domed ceiling. Very spacious. The pillows are nice.

The Arabian gulf. The weather was dreary because of the sandy atmosphere but it’s still sunny good for sunbathing and the pools are temperature controlled, so it’s a bit chilly, so it’s perfect!

The staff are nice. It’s a good place to relax. There are water activities as well.

It’s a naturalistic movie. It’s a movie in which you feel you can relate to the characters, it’s either you feel you are either Glen or Russell or one of their friends.

I love the parts when they talk to each other by themselves. It’s beautiful.

Meet Minerva.

I’ve never been head over heels over a mobile phone ever, until I met her, I wish I’m kidding because it sound ridiculous.

I’m going to miss my BB.

No, I will not talk about her. She’s the best out there right now, that’s it.

It’s a young adult book, written by Daniel Handler, also known as, Lemony Snicket of A Series of Unfortunate Events‘ series.

Here are some of my favorite lines.

“Stop saying no offense,” I said, “when you say offensive things. It’s not a free pass.” 

It’s cute and funny actually. A very light read.

“I’m not a romantic, I’m a half-wit. Only stupid people would think I’m smart. I’m not something anyone should know. I’m a lunatic wandering around for scraps, I’m like every single miserable moron I’ve scorned and pretended I didn’t recognize. I’m all of them, every last ugly thing in a bad last-minute costume. I’m not different, not at all, not different from any other speck of a thing. I’m a blemished blemish, a ruined ruin, a stained wreck so failed I can’t see what I used to be.”

It’s as if I was Min in highschool, when my heart was ran over by the school heartthrob. I used to get really pissed when I remember it, but now it’s all so silly I just laugh at my self and wonder, when did I become so stupid.
